With 8k of capital the only choice is to swing trade equities (and ETFs). You can still trade ES (SPY), CL (USO) etc. Just expand your horizon, swing trade it. This is how I recommend to start...

But leverage is the enemy of any beginner/rookie. You should stick with ETF's until you have a prove track record of long term consistent profits...
