If the vendor did not make the plots accessible, there is nothing you can do except complain to the vendor and ask for your money back. Maybe they will comply, or give you a version that is not so...

Launch Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer), and see if you can browse to the path. ...

Modify the cs file so the path is correct. It will be different depending on your username and operating system.
