Matching trades against the bid/offer...

Matching trades against the bid/offer specifically.

Their Tickstream still colors trades based on uptick/downtick but their actual data matches trades against the bid/offer on par with IQFeed on...

In December 2013, OEC made some huge leaps...

In December 2013, OEC made some huge leaps forward in the quality of their data.

Right now, I'd say that yes, OEC can now be used for scalping.
