I wonder if as the Boomers go , the buy and hold...

I wonder if as the Boomers go , the buy and hold mentality goes with them ....

maybe that is what is occurring and quant/hft is what fills the void , guess we'll have to learn to adapt....

I don't know anything about automation but if I did , I think I would try adding a 20 dma as a filter above and below, also not sure I would leave it running as spring/summer doldrums kick in
...
