I found some info on the floor, as of the end of 2013 it looks like there is still a small amount of traders on the floor....

If NYMEX pit is all electronic, why the volume at 2:30 pm ET?

I see the volume on open outcry posted on the cmegroup for nat gas for example, NG is 84 and total volume is over 100k is this accurate? Are there still floor traders in a NYMEX pit somewhere in NYC...
