Right David...
associations are learned. So why do we look at color that way? Platforms use as default red for losses and red for down bars...a faulty construct from a trading perspective.

at least not intentionally. I could flip them though it wouldnt make any difference to me...it is red for down bar red for neg p/l that I wanted to avoid.

Visually ergonomic screen color scheme?
Wondering if anyone has opinion about why we seem to allow green to be "up" and red to be "down" as a visual representation for both p/l and long/short. The green cannotation is "go" the red...
