Ok, I misunderstood when you mentioned 2 core i7. You are running a dual core i7. I believe all of them have Hyperthreading which effectively gives you 4 cores to work with.

My older Phenom II X4 955 will most likely be able to run Mike's trading platform and a slightly higher CPU usage and probably at slightly slower speeds. Might not be as snappy as Mike's bakckup...
