Congrats too! Mine is also with Win7, I actually like Win8 but not for any desktop application, it's great for tablets, convertibles with touch screen.

Its 47 watts processor, exactly what I need. 15 watts are mega slow in comparison....

I put Ninja and my CFD platform on it, no scaling, smallest setting for fonts/controls, all look great. No really need for 17 inch. It would be different if 17 was offered with something like 2.5k....
