Hello All,

Well, this will show my lack o' coding skill!

I'm trying to get a plot to the DataBox that will show the most recent Swing High to Swing Low move of the ZN in a dollar difference format.

I haven't yet become familiar with the ZN tick size / dollar equivalent per tick move, etc. I didn't specify (if instrument == ZN) and I can't even get the Swings to give me the current price in my print command.

Any help making this work will be appreciated!

Look at SwingTemp, it already calculates the number of ticks in a move. Then just modify that by adding a new text label next to that to calculate Ticks * PointValue.

Code

double pointvalue
Instrument.MasterInstrument.PointValue * (NbrTicksInMove TickSize

okay,

repeat after me:

" parts changer is to mechanic as...

zeller4 is to programmer"

Mike, thanks for the lead, added drawtext upper left - not sure if it's in the right spot (lines of code) and it doesn't update with each swing update yet...

screenshot shows 12tick move in box but 14 tick move of current swing

thanks for yours or anybody's help
