Hello traders and programmers,

I have spend several month learning and programing simple strategies in C#.
Sooo many problems I encounter that I dont know where to start.

I dont dare to let any strategy to run on NT live because its so unpredictable.
Backtesting is just not possible. To have backtest done inside the bar special arrangement has to be made to use lower timeframe or other type of chart,. To do this the backtest is still not reliable and verrryyy slowwww.
Even after closing strategies 2 days ago they are still on my chart now. LOL...

I noticed that many people going back to TS and Multicharts because of the Easy language.

If anybody would like to comment please do so.
I am just not sure if my efford which I am putting into NT will have positive results.
And maybe put attention to more reliable and robust Easy language.

Thanks
Peter

I'd say it all depends on your programming experience. Personally I wouldn't trade C++ (preferable) or C# for an "Easy" language. I have strategies programmed in NT which are running exactly as I intend, and potential disconnections are the only reason I need to monitor them at all. So it can be done, but it's hard work requiring advanced programming skills.
