I've seen a few threads on multiple monitors, but I couldn't quite find the answer that I'm seeking...

First, I have just one experience using dual monitors, and as a friend just reminded me, I used an extended mode to make that happen.

For those with 3, 4 and more monitors, does anyone make use of special software to manage those? I would imagine that there is something out there to serve such a purpose...

For those who use MC, might there be a way to have a tab or workspace be dedicated to a monitor? Thanks for the enlightenment.

Your OS handles it. If using Windows, you can also add DisplayFusion software for some better taskbar management, but it is optional.

As for MultiCharts, there is no workspace -> monitor mapping per se. Just put the windows where you want them on whatever monitors, and save your workspace. Nothing more to it.

Mike

Serger, I find myself looking at your indicators more than your monitor set-up. Really fascinating. Stuff I had not seen before... Thank you.

I was thinking of an HP workstation, Z series, which I heard good things about here. I see some of these come with an Nvidia Qadro NVS 295 video card which handles 2 monitors at 2560x1600, up to 30". I'd get one more in case I'd want more than 2. It seems that I might want to use 3...

Mike, thank you too. I don't recall the steps or maneuvers involved in determining or dictating what graphics go where, but from what you describe, it sounds very straight-forward.
