Does anyone know how to overlay 2 or 3 symbols on one panel but keep the scaling from moving. Trying to overlay oil and dow but each instrument moves up and down on its own due to the scaling.

Thanks
Hector

a simple explanation

click on your indicator
go to where it says Scale Justification
do the dropdown and you have choices of Right ..Left... Overlay
choose Overlay and then

Select Panel and put where you want the indicator to sit.

Try 1 or same as input series

Or select Left and you get Crude on the left scale and the ^DJIA on the right like so...

You might consider Log instead of Linear scaling when you compare two things like that.

Thanks Sharmas and Mxasj,
I have tried of your recommendations but I still get the same outcome. When I move or drag the charts back, the bars are not static they move up and down. I think it is a scaling issue not able to be set to not move. Anyways I have attached a couple of pics of before I move chart back and then after I move chart back.

current chart pic current pic - hector24's library

moved chart pic moved chart - hector24's library

You can see how the bars move up and down and do not remain still.

Thanks for you alls help and if you think of another way if you don't mind passing it on to me.

Thanks, Great Room
Hector

@hector24, right click on scale, on properties set the range as fixed for both data series.

Take your Pips, go out and Live.

Lukegeniol and Sharmas,
Got it and it worked. What actually made it work was the suggestion to go to properties and use the setting feature and set to fixed range.
Thanks alot to everyone who helped. Another project completed here at Big Mikes Trading.

Thanks
Hector

Hi MXASJ, I am also trying to do something like this. What do you mean by your statement "You might consider Log instead of Linear scaling when you compare two things like that"

Thank you.
