Ok, after relentless fiddling, this may solve the problem.
Goto Settings in Tapatalk while logged into NexusFi (formerly BMT).
Please check if BB code is enabled. Please enable it.
It should now show images plus the thumbnails.

No didn't work, that was the first thing i tried

jthom, after enabling BB code for your ipad/iphone tapatalk, it now displays images?
