I'l like to cancel my subscription to all the threads i have participated. I have not found the function to do it. Also, where in my profile can i change this setting so that when i post the default option would be set to not subscribe. Thanks.

At the very bottom of the site, you can click "Update Your Profile". Then, if you look at the far left column, one of your options is Subscribed Threads. You can click "List Subscriptions" to see what you're currently subscribed to, and then empty the folder to remove your subscriptions.

Also, after clicking "Update Your Profile" and venturing over to the far left column again, you will find Settings and Options. Under this heading, click "Edit Options". There you can set your "Default Thread Subscription Mode" so that you are not automatically subscribed to every thread where you make a post.
