Does anyone know or have an example of how streaming data can be captured and tabulated in Excel for further analysis - possibly even streaming charting in excel.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are many CSV export scripts or EAs for usage from a MT4 chart. I am unaware of any on this forum due to MT4's minimal usage here, but a google search should easily find you many on a competing forum. Should real time data capture be required, DDE works fairly well (but I'm not sure you need that for any sort of long term meaningful analysis.) Not sure if the timeframe you are after, but there are many reliable sources and individuals who have made tick data available as well, for spot forex.

As about streaming data, you have to compose DDE-bridge between MT4 and excel. Read some threads on MQL4: automated trading forum
