If you were thinking I must the the world's worst trader - I'll tend to agree, haha
Usually I wait for the top to form and then for it to turn down before selling. But as i trade ES I usually don't bring up the CL chart til to late in the morning. So today I just thought I'd throw a couple on the fire - och!.
I think I need to track times for the CL -e.g. when does a high usually happen on an up day?
The last two 87.61 were filled at 8:31.
So now short 4.
I bail on two of the 4 if we get a drop later in the day.
Hehe, everyone here probably doesn't' think that you're the world's worst trader but your calls are as good as mine. So far the shorts are looking good, HH, LH, and HL. Hard to say if its going to find its open at 85.42, it could hit 86.41, but so far it hasn't passed 86.75 and that's starting to look like a double bottom. The price is still above the 50 day MA.
Hard to say when the usual high happens during the day, i have noticed that it happens mostly during market hours for both US and Europe. I use a price action indicator that labels HigherHighs and LowerLows of the day, but its for MT4. I'm pretty sure there's a good indi out there for NT, i just haven't found one.
