Do you yell at the chart?

I sometimes find myself cursing like a sailor at the chart, "come on you rat bastard, go go go" etc. (only use your imagination for some more colorful language).

I just caught myself doing this, and decided to post about it. It's not that the trade is bad, the trade is in fact going well. I'm just excited for my next target to be hit where I scale out

Mike

Actually, when I think about it, I never have. Maybe a handful of times out of me being excited or pissed off.

But I generally go the entire day without speaking at all.

Personally, I feel it helps relieve stress and also allows parts of your subconscious to blow off steam.

Yes, I do find myself showing emotion during a trade.
I usually try to hold back by reminding myself to let my system take care of the trade.
At the end of the day, I reflect on the days points and let it out for a brief moment.

Imagine after you just sunk an amazing putt or the overall feeling of confidence/achievement
after hitting a solid 350 yard drive. The same holds true when you hit your ball into the water
or totally shank one into the next fairway over.

It's good to let those emotions flow IMO. Then I move on with my day.

I do it period. Yelling your damned scam artists when I see price is going in the wrong direction on as good as no volume and I have to exit the trade. But sometimes I praise the chart when it behaves like it should. And I find it really relieves stress and makes trading not so boring
