i found an inside outside bar indicator indicator on this forum

and thought, if it would be possible to get the 5 minute chart outside bar data plotted on the 1 minute chart as an example ( the indicator plots a horizontal line on top, bottom and in the middle of the outside bar).

I have coded a similar multi-timeframe indicator, which plots ranges based on auction bars. An auction bar is a wide ranging bar that shifts the value of a continuous auction to a new area.

The indicator plots a range a small percentage above and below the auction bar. The chart shows auction ranges calculated from a 15 min bar series on a 3 min chart.

Of course it is possible to implement a similare concept based on outside bars.

your concept of auction bars already comes very close to what i meant.
i have no programming skills, so the question is, can i do this by myself (maybe after watching the ninjatrader programming webinar)?
i hope this question doesnt sound too simpleminded, but i thought, i already have the indicator,
i have a few other multi time frame indicators, so lets bring these concepts together.
