I did not use MCDT 7 for a while since I started to use the MC 7 build 4510 pro version.
In the last few days while the markets were quite chaotic I was trading mostly ES via the DOM on my Zenfire account.
Executions seemed to be OK as far as speed and fills goes however I've noticed one thing when I've tried to place an order using DOM a couple of times "my order kind of disappeared".
I've clicked and nothing has happened no order on the DOM and no position. It happened I think twice and the price action was just around where my order was. I did not follow up on the issues since did not have time.
Autotrade with Zenfire seems to have issues, /I don't think there is a way yet to paper trade Zenfire yet with MC/ hang the platform once, took a trade after restart and autotrade was not enabled. Until somehow I will be convinced MC is stable with Zenfire on autotrade I will not autotrade MC with Zenfire again.
IB autotrade seems to be ok even with paper account.
When you look at the log, what is the error message? Are you trying to use both MC and NT concurrently? If so, have you got your broker to approve your account for concurrent connections? (it is not the default).
ZF trading modules in MC full and MCDT are the same. Most users are not experiencing problems, you should probably check out that entitlement that Mike was talking about. If something doesn't appear to work correctly, visit our Live Chat, and our techs can help answer your questions.

yeah, it's happening now.
NT 7 works fine on zenfire. But DT fails to establish connection to zenfire.
I don't know how to get log from Multichart (the main program). the color of my zenfire conection is Yellow when I choose to 'connect to zenfire' ; when I 'connect to symbol' in QuoteManager, all I got in bottom Event Log is 'Establishing connection to Zenfire...'
File - New - Order and Position Tracker (pretty bad name for the log location).
I don't think you answered whether or not you contacted your broker to explicitly allow two concurrent logins to Zen Fire, because that could be causing your issue. It is free, they just need to flip a switch.
Make sure you are running the latest MC DT version.
btw, I am able to use QuoteManger to retrieve symbols from my zenfire login, like Emini DEC 2011. But that's about it, I cannot do anything else: charting, connect to symbol...
