Is there any way to get NinjaTrader to chart more than 1 day using the replay data on a 5 minute chart?
I currently have a 5 minute chart set to display 5 days worth of data. However, the market data replay simulator only charts 1 day at a time. When it reaches the end of a day the data is cleared from the chart.
I'd like to see the previous days data so I can practice price action trading more realistically. This also screws up my 20 period EMA.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Market Replay data has to be downloaded individually by Day. (or at least that is how I do it)
You have to set your Data Series section to 30 days of data or whatever when you set up your chart.
Whenever you do market replay it is better to 'reload historical data' once by right clicking and selecting on the chart. This will load all historical data but could take a while.
Show a screen shot as what you are asking doesn't seem clear to me.
Actually @sam028 wrote a script that can download as much data as you want. I can never remember what thread it is in, so maybe Sam can link it for us.
