Hey all,

I'm very new to coding NS and have been looking at how some of the indicators and strategies are written. I'm using ADXVMA_sharky, and was wondering what line of code to add (and where) to see something like this;

IF red AND falling SHORT (or play sound, or whatever)
IF blue AND rising LONG (or play sound, etc)

So I'm looking for a particular color and movement of the indicator before I do something.

Any suggestions?

look in adxvma_sharky_paintbar, then you see what you need ...

for example

Code
if (main[0] > main[1])
                {
                    Rising.Set(main[0]); Rising.Set(1, main[1]);
                    if (ColorBars)
                    { CandleOutlineColor = BarColorOutline; BarColor = BarColorUp;
// here you can define

 }
                }

Thanks wh. I'll have a play with some code. I think I may have to incorporate the dreaded "second derivative" though... ROC of the indicator. There are times when it is flat and red/blue/yellow. Something to do over the weekend...
