Just like you can select 3 minutes period by typing 3M from within a chart. Is there a way to assign a shortcut to custom bar types ? Like by typing 6MR it would switch chart to 6 MedianRenko... Is there a file to edit in order to achieve this ?

This is not possible since defining this is not publicly exposed.

Too bad. Please suggest to developpement team to make those parameters easily available to edit, maybe like HotKeys or within NinjaScript at least.
