I applaud you for wanting to learn to trade without indicators. I believe this is the best first step. Once you learn to trade without indicators then you are "free". After that you can add some indicators if they have a real benefit (simplify your trading, alert you to possible setups, filter out bad trades, allow you to watch more markets/timeframes, etc.). Notice in the reasons I gave the indicators are not giving your entries. This is important.
If you want a simple trading method that doesn't use indicators, I wrote about one earlier today in this post (. I provided links to many of my trades using this approach. I was successful trading this way and it was simple (but not necessarily easy or stress-free!). You may then wonder why I'm not trading like this right now. The reason is I have found a lower risk method of trading (which I also describe in that post). It's more complicated but I've done well with it. And now I'm working on combining both.
