Hi everyone, has anyone an indicator that draws a sign on the chart (i.e. any kind of mark or vertical line) when x bars (to be specified) have passed since the price last touched the 800 simple moving average (SMA) on the timeframe of the current chart? thank you in advance, John.

What should happen if say you have it set to display at 200 bars, but price touches BEFORE you get to your 200 bars?

If price touches BEFORE you get your count, should the count be restarted again?

Exactly!

if price touches the 800 SMA before it gets to, lets say, 200, it should restart: start counting from zero again.

thank you,

John.

Didn't see your latest post.

I started messing with this, but stopped as that question popped up. If nobody gets to it before I do, I'll see if I can come up with something quickly when I get a chance.
