i am new to ninja trader, after i edit the indicator in notepad++ , i save it and replace the old indicator whit the new. i try to change only the colors and is not working

You have to recompile it: edit the file in NT editor, then press <F5>.

start ninjatrader
in the menu of the control center select 'Tools', 'Edit NinjaScript', 'Indicator', select the indicatorfile you want to open, press 'OK', press F5 to compile

and if you really don't have editor capacity use this trick. After saving/moving cs file into its appropriate folder, file> utility> import ninja script, these step will trigger the compilation process without using editor option.

about u trick, i was a liter hard to figured it out but finaly i made it
