I had an entry in Downloads > Sierra Chart and I wanted to update it with a new download file.

I went into Edit - edited the description, tried to replace Perrys Spreadsheet.zip with Download.zip, submitted my changes. Then I went to Download my changes and found Perrys Spreadsheet.zip was still there. I ended up deleting and re-adding the entry. Updates from V1.0 to V1.1 should be easier than this?

maybe you forgot to upload the new file? I replaced my file without problem.

The filename won't change. A lot of people don't realize this, they see the same filename and don't look inside the zip to see if the contents are the new version. The filename won't change from one edit to another, just a limitation of the add-on.

thank you, that is what I did, assumed the contents had not changed. From now one I will use same file name. This probably not happening often, so for the few that it happens to they will be able to find this post and realize what has happened. Probably a comment on the edit screen would just be confusing.
