I'm coding a strategy and running into these...

I have an "&& Rising(DM(5).DiPlus)" condition in my if statement...

when I Zoom-In at the plotted graph for DM(5).DiPlus it is clearly falling starting from 1 bar back, but apparently the Rising(DM(5).DiPlus) condition is true??

I'm also checking for a Rising(SMA(Typical, 1)) and the Zoomed-In graph is also falling from 1 bar back, but this Rising() condition is also true?

why is this?

I have CalculateOnBarClosed = true.

Very confused. Any help? Thanks!

The DiPlus of the DM is the green line in the bottom oscillator panel isn't it? If so, it is rising during the time of that signal.

My understanding is the green line is the ADX and the DiPlus is the blue line above. The SMA is the purple line above the DM indicator.

And actually, since you said you had CalonBarClose() == true, looking at that pic again, 3 out of 4 of those lines on your chart would evaluate Rising() == true.

When CalconBarClose is true, that means when you see the actual signal for entry on your chart, it is the calculation for the bar BEFORE the one where the entry appeared.

You'll notice if you run your strategy live, that when the signal appears, it occurs at the very beginning of the bar, as it opens. So on your chart, when that 02:33 bar happened, you look at the time of 02:31, and all but the one at the bottom is rising.
