Not restricting yourself to NinjaTrader only, you could also simply use some a remote control software to access your computer's desktop. RealVNC - VNC Viewer for iOS
The best solution is to use a RDP client for iStuff, like this one.
I didn't tried with an iPhone, only with an iPad 2, and it works great (accessing my VPS, which I usually use in 1920x1200, with 4 virtual screens).
You can't debug a NinjaTrader large strategy, or write a book using the remote word processor , but to start/stop strategies, check the P&L and few charts, it's good enough.
I knew it has to work, this is not rocket science, but I was really impressed but the result.
