Hey guys has anyone tried to make an automated strategy in tradestation that involves hedging?
Since USA doesnt allow hedging, i assume a way around it is to have bot A run, and make a bot "B" that runs on another account, but how do i get bot B to realize what bot A is doing?

Maybe when i generate a position in bot A have it write to a log file, and have bot B read it? how would i do that?

There isn't a native reserve word for reading files unfortunately, only writing them.

You could accomplish it by linking a DLL and writing C++ code to relay the info between two running strategies. It is an advanced topic so would need to hire it done if you are not comfortable doing it yourself.
