Hi, is there anyone out there that knows how to put the high and low of the last closed bar onto the chart in sierra, as per the attached pic.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Here is a way to do it:

Add the Spreadsheet Study study to your chart, set the Chart Region to 1, and give it a name in the Spreadsheet Name field.
On the Subgraphs tab, set the Draw Style of SG1 and SG2 to Point, set the Width to 0, check Show in Name Label, set Horizontal Align to Far Right.
Click OK and OK
On the spreadsheet, put these in the following cells:
Cell K2: =K3
Cell K3: =C4
Cell L2: =L3
Cell L3: =D4

Also, you'll need to lock some fillspace to make room for the numbers. Scroll the chart so that the last bar is some distance from the right edge. Then click on Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced tab >> check Lock Fill Space.

Thanks Tomglib.

Your instructions were great. A lot better than sierra. However I am now perplexed. As you can see from the attached pic, the numbers need to be set to 2 decimal places, however I cannot see where to change this. Any ideas? I tried number format on the cells, but alas to no avail.

Thanks Again.

Try changing the formulas in these cells to the following:
Cell K2: =ROUND(K3,2)
Cell L2: =ROUND(L3,2)

Unfortunately, the display will not hold two decimal places (two zeros) if the result equals the integer, or 1/10 of the integer (one zero), even when the value in the cell does hold those places. I hope this is not an issue because I do not know a workaround.

@Mickey Caine, looking at the title of this thread "looking to put price on the chart", I can see where you went wrong.

Why, oh why, would you need price on a chart?? With so many beautiful indicators, surely price is just a distraction, a relic of the past.

Mike

The terminology could have been better I agree. But that said the high and low of the last closed bar are now beautifully displayed on my indicator Lite screen
