when people talk about trading bonds they are talking about bond futures. the corporate debt market is a cash market, i would assume its highly illiquid and thus no one really trades in that.

cheers.

Some major exchanges operate bond trading platforms. Access typically requires (clearing) membership in one of the exchanges and liable capital in excess of $ 1 million. Not exactly a playground for retail traders.

Yes, I trade corporate bonds. Well, let's say that I usually do not BUY them with the intention of Selling. I usually buy the bond to capture the yield. What I have noticed as a retail trader is that my BIDS can be skipped even if I am hitting the OFFER. Not exactly a pretty picture there.

What is it that you want to know about trading bonds? I am sure there are tutorials out there that you could review.
