I'm not an IQFeed customer, but what does this mean? Does the user pay less commissions on trades?

This is good news indeed. Does anyone know if the IB continuous contract and IQfeed continuous contract are "sync'd" if you will. Meaning do they roll together at the same time for a given product. This would be nice for those of us using Sierra Charts who have to change months with an order execution broker who does not offer continuous contracts (ie. TT). Very curious to know this.

Monpere; this has nothing to do with commissions but rather if you subscribe to DTN's data feed and use IB you will not have to pay exchange fees.

I do have IB right now, and as an example, I believe for the ES with the IB cost plus fee setup, one would pay $1.14 exchange fee, $0.85 IB fee, $0.02 regulatory fee, per contract per side. So with the IQFeed waiver, I would be paying only $0.85 + $0.02, per contract per side?

The CME waives all data exchange fees for Globex products, it has nothing to do with trading fees.

Ok, I see.. I have been thinking about getting IQFeed. How would this be beneficial to me? Does it lower the monthly fee they charge the customer?

You don't pay the exchange fees for Globex products. That saves you about $250/mo. If I remember correctly, you just have to pay the $80 base fee. Add $10-20 for the US stock exchanges.
