If you wanted to back test the E-mini russell for 100 days how would you do that. I am dumb founded on how to go back and test. My data does not go back that far. Not only that the particular contract has no volume. Would you use the "Regular Big" Russell if so how do you find it on Ninja. I have DTIQ for my feed. Just wondering if anyone has the same problem.

Use the continuous contact, it will backfill. I think for IQFeed the symbol is TFS# or @TFS#, check the instrument manager in NinjaTrader.

Mike thanks for responding back. I looked on my Instrument Manager and there is not a TFS# or @TFS#.
Do you another way to input this into my Instrument Manager. I have tried to search for it and it does not find anything.
