I have an almost 19gig tick file for eurusd and am trying to load this into NT7. I tried the normal way and it get stuck at 2007.

When I tried to open file to make it into numerous smaller files it tells me its too big to open in notebook...

any suggestions?

thanks

Split the file into smaller chunks.

Let me google that for you

If you need to edit large text files so you can use UltraPad or PilotEdit. Second one i use for viewing and editing large files. Or you can split it into several files or upgrade you PC RAM. On my PC with 12GB RAM i import 6GB data with no problems.

regards
