you could create a CFD on anything ...

Why is there so much volume/interest in financials betting and maybe sport betting
but so little in everyday important things i.e. the newspaper headlines ?

The world would be more transparent if we could see a betting chart with any news,
how unexpected it was, how important.

Maybe this is forbidden, not wanted in USA but UK would probably do it.
However they mainly have bets on sport events and only binary.

For the financial world I'd wish CFDs on CDSs(credit default swaps) so anyone can trade those.
Or CFDs on the CPI (consumer price index)
Or the GDP (gross domestic product) of a country
