I have been trading the M6E, conditioning my emotional control for live trading. I have simmed myself
to death and I just can't take it anymore

Anyhoo... things are progressing well and I am slowly becoming profitable.

I am starting to think about what instrument I should move onto next. The 6E would be the logical
choice, but I don't think I'm ready emotionally for a full tick size instrument yet.

So that leaves the YM and NQ for the half sizing. I know the YM follows 6E rather well.
I know little about NQ.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I'm a little confused about a few of your comments.

Using the CME symbols;

M6E = E-micro Eur/USD Futures (tick) 0.0001 = $ 1.25

E7 = E-mini Eur/USD Futures (tick) 0.0001 = $ 6.25

6E = Eur/USD Futures (tick) 0.0001 = $ 12.50

The "half size" Eur/USD Futures would be the E7 @ $ 6.25 a tick, maybe you miss typed that. If your beginning to see improvement/progress in your trading why "change horses" as your coming around the "clubhouse turn." Learning to trade takes time, learning a market takes time, learning about ourselves takes a lifetime. I put my vote in the "DON"T change markets" column.

Lastly, "I have simmed myself to death and I just can't take it anymore " Maybe you need to get away from the markets for awhile, take a month off for some recreation.

recreation
Noun:
1. Activity done for enjoyment when one is not working.
2. The action or process of creating something again

Damn, I forgot all about the E7... Of course that is the route to take!

It has to be at least as liquid as M6E, which is tolerable at best.

I have gotten very good at using limit orders to help me with slippage and liquidity issues.

Thank You

I simply got to the point where I wasn't feeling any fear or anger or Ecstasy when I was simming.

That is over half the battle for a hot head like me. I'm not burned out at all. I'm actually getting
more screen time now because I am trading live with spot Euro swing trades and scalping
the M6E every once in a while. All emotional training. I'm using Market Replay now to search
for entry ideas and hone old ones.

I am progressing nicely with my emotions, considering I could hardly click the mouse to place an
order when I started out, my hand was shaking so badly. lol

I am too hooked to stop now. I'm well into my second year... maybe my third... with no end in sight.
This will be a life times work. I just wish I would have discovered this when I was a bit younger

thanks, again
