nw123: I keep having to say this despite having agreed to help moderate this area (not my first choice btw!), but I am no great shakes at NT coding. That said, as far as I know, only in NT7 can you do any multitimeframe stuff in an indicator. There are some indicators (like MTF and VirtualBars) which get around this and perhaps using those you could do something (way beyond me to help with), but one thing I did that might help you is to have the two timeframes in a basic strategy and paint the bars according to when they line up or not. But to use this as an indicator you would have to be running the strategy or reviewing in a Strategy Analyser window so it's not as convenient as an indicator.

Best of luck and hopefully someone else can help you more with this.

Hi cclsys,

Thanks a lot for your reply.

My main goal is to be able to use more than one timeframe in this strategy, so that strategy to indicator thing is just a bonus if it's achievable. Also I didn't mean that I want to use multiple time frame within the indicator, I was wondering whether this code in this strategy can be converted to an indicator, so that I can use this indicator in another multi-time frame strategy.

Anyways, if you or someone else can help me to "have the two timeframes this strategy and paint the bars according to when they line up or not", it would be great.

Thanks.
