I've been in the beta, looks like it will be a fun one that won't demand that you play all the time. Haven't checked in on it lately, but the first act is polished (the only part you get to play in the beta) they have just been working some on balance mechanics and drop rates.
If the later acts of the game are finished, then it could have been released already by many publishers standards.
wish they made a MMO like UO.. that was the best game ive ever played.. that and counter strike.. but im not much of a gamer.. i guess mortal online has come out and is kinda like UO but i havnt really seen anything like it..
dont believe anything you hear and only half of what you see
haha i cant tell if your being serious or not.. but i think i liked the going out and finding a house plot and hoarding all the crap i came across.. waiting for houses to fall and loot was pretty awesome as well..
dont believe anything you hear and only half of what you see
haha ya i remember.. taming wyrms(or whatever they were called.. the big white dragons) and using them to kill everything.. or the last halfhour before the server went down you could gather at the grave yard and have a huge battle and when you logged back in when it came back up all your stuff was back to normal.. im not a huge gamer but i did play the mortal online beta but it still had a long ways to go and i think it scared ppl off.. and i have signed up for guildwars 2 beta but i dont think its much like ultima online..
dont believe anything you hear and only half of what you see
Sad to say, me too... Being a programmer, admitting the problem hits harder...
I like the free range type of RPGs like DaggerFall, Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim. I did love the old Ultima series on the Apple II, don't know if you remember wizardry, another great one!
