Hello,

I have been looking for some decent EOD only charting software for a reasonable one off fee, essentially ProTA but on the PC/Windows.

Is there any reasonably priced solution out there?

ProRealTime is decent but I need one I can use offline (other than data download) and is not browser based,

Any suggestions would be appreciated,

Having read a bit around here, I am looking at NinjaTrader that looks like it will do everything I want for free, does this sound right?

Hi Lornz,

Thanks for the reply.

What makes you say AmiBroker? What advantages does it have over the others?

Cheers,

Tim

Well, it has the best price/power ratio, I think.

I don't use it myself, but it's hard to beat its functionality at that price.

Thanks Lornz,

Anyone else have a view?

AmiBroker does look pretty good for the price, MultiCharts etc. are over double the price.

If you haven't tried it yet prorealtime has a EOD free version. It's a great tool for charts and backtesting
