Maybe you know that problem:
IB have limited download historical data.
Maybe you want to download 1M history for stock "A" for 1 year. Then after a half the download stopps and you have to wait 10 minutes.
If you want to download a portfolio of stocks oder FX etc, you sit in front of the computer for some days and clicked your stupid.
I am not a programmer

Maybe you have a solution? A script etc. which download all the data step by step?

You can have a look at Trading-shim Homepage -- shim-091211.tgz , but it's not very user-friendly...
I wrote something for downloading IB historical data, but that was a long time ago, and I'm not sure I'm able to find it.
