I am using ninja 6.5 with IB datafeed (and mtpredictor indicators) on win xp. I have charts and market analysers open. The problem seems to be with this particular 3 way combination.

I frequently get a problem where data backfills way beyond what is required for the charts and analysers (i have checked how many bars charts and analyser windows are set to backfill).

I have tried to find a solution to this on web and from ninja and mtp but to no avail. It seems fairly random when it is going to happen and so I'm not sure whether it is the charts, the analyser windows or both that are causing the problem.

It's something there may not be a solution and it is something I have learned to live with to but if there is anyting obvious someone can see I am mising I'd be grateful.

Backfill on IB is terrible. It's been discussed on here a few times. If historical data or unfiltered tick data are important to you, I suggest you don't use IB.
