Objective - I am comparing my ES 1500T chart to PAT systems ES 2000T chart and I find I am lacking a lot of detail

Environment - Sierra Chart with Transact data feed
ES 1500T charts

PAT systems uses CQG data feed which is way too expensive, and PAT systems suggests that all I need is to see the same patterns on my chart as on his chart

Questions
1. I see Big Mike uses DTN data feed and Sierra Chart for charting - would this provide me with a lot more Tick chart detail over Transact data feed
2. With using a dedicated Data feed, you need to use a separate screen to submit your trades i.e. Transact data with Sierra Chart for entering Trades. I see a lot of people doing this, is this cumbersome to manage. i.e. monitoring your charts on one screen and monitoring your trades on another screen.
3. in order to test this I guess I would need to subscribe to DTN for $65 for a month and also $30 CME fees for the month too.

I see DTN offers a 7 day free trial, I have signed up for it
I see DTN works with Sierra Chart, looking forward to trying DTN out

I can't speak to the quality of Transact feed, but I do use IQFeed with Sierra. You don't have to use two separate charts. Just use the IQFeed instance of Sierra chart to collect data only (you can keep it minimized). With the Transact instance you use the remote data file feature and the bars will be from IQFeed with chart trading and market depth from Transact. There is a CME fee waiver program so you wouldn't need to pay any additional CME fees.
