Question for all the TOS users. When i put up range bars in TOS a new bar will form when the range of the bar is broken and starts a new bar but if price goes back into the range of the prior bar the new bar disappears and starts back in the old bar. Anyone else having this problem or is it just a setting somewhere i am missing

Thank you for sending in your question, would you be able to try and cut the overall timeframe down you were looking at as if there is a long period of time and a small aggregation range the number of bars will be limited so we can display the data. If you would try and cut down your timeframe and see if this improves the performance of the range bars it should help you out. Please let us know if this does not correct this issues you are seeing.

I changed mine to 2 days instead of 10 and things look a bit different. Still testing... trading /6E -Range 0.0004 -2 days

I've started looking at range bars, and I use TOS. I noticed the problems noted above. I changed my days from 30 to 10 and yes they look different alright! Why would a .75 range ES bar not be the same (10 vs 30)? I am losing faith in TOS.
Any ideas on a different platform? I trade futures.
