It appears the persistent variables provided by sierra (in which the menuhandle was saved) is wiped when the study window for the chart has been opened and either ok or apply is being pressed (regardless of if any changes are made). The menuhandle is now saved as window userdata.
Also added the yes/no options to choose what to hide.
Depending on the configuration it might require a high impact hook into sierra (taking over the messageproc.) . do you have the windows 7 feature "Activate a window by hovering over it with the mouse" enabled?
No I don't, not sure I could handle that on all my monitors and windows.
It isn't a big deal if it causes trouble. I was just trying to eliminate mouse clicks. Right now, when I click on the chart, it activates the crosshair cursor. So then I have to click again to de-activate that if I don't want to see it. So for example, if I want to add a trendline, I have to click once to activate the window, click again to de-activate the crosshair, then do my keypress for the trendline.
Okay, then it can be done without using a highimpact hook .
I have uploaded this and 2 other extensions I have posted on nexusfi.com (formerly BMT) to download section, as i compile it all in an external compiler its easier to keep it together. Both source and a compiled dll is there.
