Hi guys,

Oblivion here.

I am currently in the process of crossing over to futures from forex. I've been playing around with bonds (particularly 30-Year US Treasury Bond [ZB]) for the past couple of months in SIM. I am absolutely in love with the way this instrument moves (some say it's like watching paint dry..I say it's like watching money grow on trees).

Before I make the switch to live trading, I would like to become absolutely intimate with bonds. I want understand this product from the cover to the back and everything in between.

I went to a book store to see if I can find any good books - and I did...but most of them are really really technical and written in a very dry manner. Needless to say I am still going to read them (and likely more than once) - but I was wondering if someone can point me towards any books or websites that explain the inner workings the bonds, their price movement, what catalysts effect the bond market etc...I'm looking for information which will give me more understanding of how to approach bonds in day trading.

Ordered 8th edition of Bond Markets, Analysis, and Strategies last night at $200 dollars.

Should be quite a read...over 700 pages.
From what I understand though Fabozzi does dedicate a large portion of the book to corporate bonds, which will probably make only half the book relevant.
