Just a side note...Why don't you guests (non futures.io (formerly BMT) members) sign up here it's free and you could chime in here once in a while.
I welcome your input....good, bad or indifferent.
I only mention it because I notice a lot of traffic from guests.
I was trying to think what to post here but it's just a mess except for the couple of the lower spots mentioned previously so I think I'll just keep quiet until we get a better sense of direction.
in the short time i've been a member (non-elite, yet) of futures.io (formerly BMT), i've learned more about all aspects of trading that simply, make one a better trader. a BIG thank you to big mike, sharky, fat tails, eco, cunparis, etc, etc, for all of their experience and wisdom.
in sum: after many, many consecutive trading days of SIM losses, today i posted a $956 gain, using a few simple techniques, but techniques i had to work to learn.
crappy, non-trending day today...how did i do it? longer time frames.
Was anyone just affected by that weird print at around 9:00:01? (central time)
I was about 3 ticks into profit, had my stop 15 ticks away and there was a major print up that took about a second, but was right back down...went from around 759.3 all the way up to 762.
It took out my stop, and then 2 seconds later was way down at 758.8
