I am currently thinking about purchase ESIGNAL Advanced GET. Reason is very simple, if buying ESIGNAL AGET there is a one time fee of 3.995 EUROS. when you have Advanced GET there is no monthly fee for using ESIGNAL only exchange fees have to be payed. So for me after 2 years itīs paid off, because i save about 120 usd each month.
however is there anybody who uses ESIGNAL Advanced GET and can share his opinions about it?
regards,
Stephan
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I do not use AdvGet, but I have a friend who owns it and does still use it. He really only uses because it is already paid for, and it is one of the only wave counters in town. It has issues IMO because it will give you different results every time you fire it up based on new data (counts change). It can be a nice tool for finding an initial idea of the count and then forming your own count. My friend does not use it to trade.
The payment is really a marketing gimmick to get your cash up front so you can not return it or stop paying if you don't like it anymore. Ninja/others are similar, you can buy it for a one time payment or pay monthly etc. If you like and use the product then it can be a good way to save money in the long term. Many vendors do this, they pump the product hard, make it a must have, offer a quick one time payment, and bang they got their cash and move on to next person. Again, this can be good or bad for you, just be sure you know what you are getting into. Have you ever noticed that most trading major items / mentorships cost $2500-$5000. There is a reason for that. It is the sweet spot where they know they can entice people in without scaring you away, while also maximizing how much revenue they can bring in. Webinars etc are geared towards this.
i actually use esignal premier with feed and because i use level II date from zen-fire the costs for esignal are only some bucks more than iqfeed. i made some tests and think esignal here in europe is a little bit faster than iqfeed so i will stay with esignal as datafeed. the monthly fee for esignal is not needed if i will buy esignal advenced get, the datafeed (exchange fees) i still have to pay of course.
I am using eSignal Premier Pro, had a trial for Adv GET before. AGET is a great product, especially for eSignal users. You are probably informed about differences between Premier and AGET.
As far as pricing is concerned, I believe there is an additional costs for the data feed (and obviously for any exchange fees) above the 3,995.
BTW, eSignal data feed has been better than IQfeed for me as well (in Europe at least).
I purchased advanced get in 2009, when I was new to trading. I dont use it anymore. I never really made a long term profit using their strategies. I think there are better ways to make a profit. Pls be aware that there is a base fee of $40,- for using esignal + exchanges fees.
Having said that i am an esignal fan. There new platform v 11 is one the best available at this point in time. If you are trading based eod data, you can get global access to data at a very attractive price. The investment i made back then was worth every penny, because it introduced me to risc management, risk/reward, clear entry and exit rules as part of a strategy etc etc. For new traders it is worth every penny, for experienced trades - stay away.
if you use a esignal datafeed you have to purchase "$134" every month or you have Advanced Get, which is a one-time price. datafeeds must be purchased every month with al products. i donīt know about a base fee. i remember, that is it not possible to get esignal datafeed without esignal product (see link).
I daytrade via Multicharts but use Esignal 11 for the big picture charting and alerts, this combination is perfect for me. i tried other feeds but was never satisfied. however there are some ugly wrong spikes in volume and price on eurex feed with esignal, which do not appear on Zen-Fire. I reported them as reasonable quotes and think it is getting better now.
bstrader - from the link you have provided - please see the sign that says - " Additional monthly datafeed package required." - under advancedget column. There is no monthly fee to use the software - but you still need to pay for the monthly datafeed package.
i had contact to a sales guy from esignal some minutes ago.
there is a base fee for using data only which is nearly 90 usd per month, so this does not to make senses, because data feeds are the same price as with esignal 11 (134 usd monthly), with esignal advanced get there is no need to purchase any base fee and upgrades are free, so e. g. my monthly subscription drops by 134 usd!
