The limit is $25k, so if it was not the case, move your $$ to another place.

I just opened an account at SogoTrade.com with $40,000.
Free trades for 30 days and $3 per trade thereafter.
Let’s say that I do 4 day trades in one week.
Then I would be identified as a Pattern Day Trader.
What would happen after that?

Nothing. PDT rules only restrict accounts with less than 25k.
