I found that having distinct objects in the background can be distracting, and a lot depends on the colors, but this background works for me ... I actually enjoy staring at the chart ... where I used to get bored and miss things... each to his own... use what works for you...

@TMFT,

How did you get the Bollinger band to paint. I can't seem to get it to paint on my chart. My background pic is in png format ... I'm unable to get jpeg/jpg pics to show up.

This background is it ... when the price is going sky-high then it is a Bull's moment, and when it is going down to the grass, then the Bears have it.

Could you share the pic in the background of the above chart ?

That is not my pic, I think it is from @PandaWarrior. There is no bamboo left on that picture, which is a clear indication that he must have been there just before the picture was taken.
