Hello - I am trying to find out few answers related to ACSIL - and wondering if any one can help in this space ( these 2 threads are related)


Thread 1:
- Trying to find how to add an additional plot to GDT_CANDLESTICK draw type

Summary of the issue:
- If I use the graph draw type as GDT_CANDLESTICK - I can only use 4 sub-graphs(OHLC) and all other sub-graph plots would be disabled by default.
- If I use the graph draw type as GDT_CUSTOM - I can use any number of plots but the graph won't appear like candlestick
- I want to use single study if possible and would like to have candle stick like graph + an additional sub-graph


Thread 2:
- If there is no direct solution to the above problem and I am forced to use 2 studies ( or same study with different plot options ) - wondering if it is possible to make a call to another function call - which would help me solve the above issue. I can then use - the graph type of candle stick & and can make a call to another function ( with inputs as the value & graph region) - which should plot any additional sub-graphs I like.

Apparently I would be forced to use 2 studies as per SC support.

Have 2 open questions - if anyone can clarify:

- Is it possible to call a study/function with 2 inputs ( value & region ) - that would simply draw the sub-graph with the value provided in the region mentioned?

- Is it possible to "detect" and use the graph draw type used picked ( say candlestick & HL bar etc) - by going to study graphic properties and use it in the code - to redraw accordingly.

Appreciate any input for these 2 questions.
